On the first day we’ll encounter lush farmlands, powerful volcanos, glaciers and majestic waterfalls before moving on to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, a truly unique natural phenomenon favored by photographers and filmmakers the world over for its surreal and ever-changing beauty. We then arrive at Gerði Country Hotel, where you rest up for the night and dinner is available for purchase.
The second day starts with a trip to Svínafellsjökull glacier, where you'll go on a two-hour walk through the heart of a spectacular landscape with expansive views over roughhewn mountains and iceblue glacier fields. It’s a fantastic opportunity for stunning photographs. On the way back to Reykjavik we drop by Seljalandsfoss waterfall, one of the most iconic images of the South Coast.
